Flag Raised for National Hospice Palliative Care Week | May 5 to 11, 2024

As part of National Hospice Palliative Care Week, the Township of Lake of Bays raised the flag of Hospice Huntsville, which will fly from May 5th to May 11th, 2024. Councillors and township staff joined representatives from Hospice Huntsville to honour the dedicated teams providing hospice palliative care in our area and across Canada.

Council and staff extend their gratitude to Hospice Huntsville for the wonderful work they do and the support they offer to our community members and their families.

It guides you through the uncertainties of life-limiting illness with warmth and stability, with personalized support tailored to your needs. It illuminates the path forward, based on what is important for you. Palliative care is for you like a North Star guiding a weary traveller through the night.
